About me
I am an experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist (BABCP accredited and EMDR practitioner) with a specialist interest in trauma informed care based in the North East of England. I have multiple additional trainings and clinically work using an integrative value-based approach. I am an experienced clinical supervisor within the NHS, and have delivered trainings and workshops across multiple settings. I have a passion for improving trauma informed approaches to service development and leadership.
As a mum of two small boys I have also been a patient-voice for improving pre and post natal care through Public Patient Voice groups in the North of England between 2022-2025. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer earlier in 2025 and I am on my own journey with this. I believe my personal experiences have shaped my clinical practice and it is important to me to show up authentically and with compassion in my professional work.
